This version runs from a single index.html file, uses
browser-side object detection, stores your flashcards locally, and
speaks the Mandarin word with built-in speech synthesis.
Camera capture
Use the rear camera for the cleanest single-object photo. Object recognition runs in the browser with the COCO-SSD model, so there is no API key and no cloud upload.
On iPhone, this opens the camera directly in most browsers.
Current word
Teach the app a better word for this detected object. Custom words are saved on this device and override the built-in dictionary next time.
Flashcard deck
Your cards are stored locally in IndexedDB. Export uses the iPhone Share sheet when available, or downloads the image for manual saving.
